Small Town Grind started with a simple conviction: food should taste like someone actually cared about making it. We bake our breads from scratch every morning, source our groceries from producers we've met and trust, and treat every loaf, every pastry, and every jar on our shelf like it's going on someone's holiday table.

Wild-fermented, long-proofed loaves with a crackling crust and open, tangy crumb. Baked every morning — when they're gone, they're gone.

Butter-rich croissants, pain au chocolat, and seasonal fruit danishes — all hand-laminated in-house with French butter.

Whole Grain & Seeded

Dense, nutty loaves made with locally milled flours and a mix of sesame, flax, and sunflower seeds. Real fuel for real meals.

Homemade Desserts

Seasonal pies, tarts, and small-batch cakes made with Oregon fruit and real cream. Rotating selection — check in daily.

Curated Groceries

Olive oils, vinegars, spices, canned goods, and pantry staples from producers we've visited and vetted. Nothing on the shelf we wouldn't keep in our own kitchen.

Our Story

Built on the belief that small things matter

Small Town Grind wasn't born from a business plan — it was born from a frustration. Frustration with bread that tasted like nothing, pastries that were more foam than flour, and grocery shelves full of ingredients you couldn't pronounce.

So we built something different. A bakery where every recipe is tested until it's right, where the flour is local and the butter is real, and where the people who walk through our door are the reason we show up early every single day.

We're not trying to be everywhere. We're trying to be the best version of exactly what we are — a small town bakery with a big commitment to doing it right.
